How Balanced Is Your LIFE?

Hello Ladies ~

A balanced life is no simple task. The demands that are placed upon a woman, especially these days, are unbelievable. The daily routines of life get crowded with life's demands, from family, friends, jobs, church, balancing the checkbook, vacations, education and community.

We certainly can't be all things to all people, but many of us try to be! Dealing with the unexpected demands of life challenges keep us on the move. It is through our day by day walk with the Lord Jesus that leads, guides and directs our thoughts, prayers, life and brings us to a place of balance. Giving the Lord full access to our time, relationships, possession, jobs and our daily thoughts and decisions will change your world.

Is your life balanced enough to hear his still small voice and to make your plans but allow the Lord to order your steps each and every day?

Is it time to completely reorder our priorities? As you seek the Lord daily and invite him into your entire world, He will direct your paths. He is the way, the truth and life. As you seek him, he will show you the way and speak truth in what is most important to you and your family.

To walk in balanced before the Lord is so important. It effects your family, jobs and life in general. When we walk in Balance we are walking in the abundant life, fulfilling, peaceful, satisfied, joyful, purposeful life that God intended for us.

The Proverbs 31 Woman lived a balanced life. She was wise, moral and God-fearing, the virtuous wife and mother, very resourceful and a friend. A busy woman at that but simplifying focusing on living a balanced life. You too can live a life of content, peace and order as you are before the Lord each morning asking for guidance, strength, help. Christ has come to make your burden light. Cast all your cares upon Him for He cares for YOU.

My heart cries out in my day to day overwhelming demands for His help, guidance and truths to where my steps are ordered by the Lord.

You are in my prayers and know that GOD cares about everything that touches your life. Be encouraged, Woman of Faith, God is loving You.

Blessings, your sister in Christ,
Dorcas

Hope Floats

HOPE FLOATS

Isaiah 43: 1 & 2“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you… I AM the LORD your God… your Savior.”

Have you ever felt hopeless about life or a situation that just seems like will never change or end. Are you experiencing fear, loneliness, hurt, disappointment, frustrated, depressed, despaired? Maybe a family member, spouse, child, neighbor, co-worker seems to have no hope.

As people of Faith, we are not without Hope. Our hope is in the Lord. As the old song says, “Our Hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness, when my soul gives way; He is ALL my Hope and stay. God is our helper, our strength, our ever present help in time of trouble. He is our HOPE. How is it possible for Hope to float? All things are possible for them who believe.

What is HOPE? It is something we expect, anticipate, and look forward to, optimistic. Let’s continue to be women of Faith and be confident that our Hope in the Lord. Our Help comes from the Lord. Look at Noah, Jonah & Peter, just to name a few. Let Hope Float.

A Hero of the Faith

Good morning Friends on this warm, cloudy morning,

My heart is filled with emotions. A dear friend & saint of God, that I affectionately call Grandma Ferris (my spiritual grandmother), is 99 years old and of clear & sound mind and loving heart is soon to go to be with Jesus.

With that in my heart, I am experiencing excitement for Grandma Dennie and sadness for my soon to be loss. But I have to say that the excitement is precious not only for her, but a Hope for me.

See, she is a Hero of the Faith, someone admired not only by me but a host of others. She is admired because of her outstanding service, dedication, qualities, gifts, talents, bravery, courage, strength, promoter of Jesus and others, defender of truth, dedicated to God and her family, church and community. She is a great example of excellence of Faith and achievement of service to God and mankind.

What a "Treasure & Hero of the Faith" she has been personally to me and my entire family and thousands of others. Her steadfast Faith and Hope of the Lord has never ceased. Her Life has been a gift to the world. What a blessing it has been to have her in my Life. I treasure the Wedding Cake she made for Karl and I for our wedding.

Time and Time again she has prayed for me and my family and the family of God. There is not enough of words that can describe a lifetime of beauty, grace, anointing, Faith Believing Saint of God...

Heaven is striking up the Band and the Angels are scurrying around Heaven getting ready for her entrance. They are very very excited and the music has begun. The saints that have gone on before her, her husband, friends, family, my dad, mother, brother are ready to "Welcome" her HOME . No more sorry, suffering. She will be forevermore with her Lord and Savior Jesus and her Father that lovingly gave her his son and the Holy Spirit that has empowered her and given her comfort and strength and sweet counsel throughout her life. WOW... Everybody will be Happy over there.

My prayers are with the family as she leaves the residence of this world and takes up her residence in Heaven. She has fought the good fight of Faith and finished the course and have Kept the Faith. The Lord will say, "Well done my good and faithful servant, enter NOW into the joys of the Lord". She is truly a Hero of the Faith, someone that I am so blessed to call Friend, sister in Christ, Grandma Dennie and Saint of the Lord.

I encourage You, to keep fighting the good fight of Faith, keep on running and be strong in the Lord and filled with the power of His might. Be a Hero of the Faith, love God, keep his commandments, Love one another as yourself and You too will recieve a crown of LIFE at the end of your journey on earth. It's a great way to Live serving Jesus. Enjoy the journey, there is a whole lot of living going on.

Loving Jesus and You,
Your Friend,
Dorcas
